The Leadership Collective was created for one reason. Leaders today are carrying weight the public never sees. No matter how well people believe they know us. They know of us by what they read or hear.
Serving in government, leadership, work or public life right now comes at a hefty price.
1. Exhaustion.
Not just long hours. Exhaustion. Not just exhausted bodies, but exhausted minds. Juggling and in some cases having to absorb hate, vitriol and venom. Working in a culture and leading in environments filled with anger, misinformation, betrayal, and people who demand solutions while refusing to understand reality. It wears you down.
2. Isolation.
Even in a crowd of people. Even surrounded by others at work. You can't speak freely. You can't process out loud. You can't be fully human. One honest moment can be twisted or weaponized. One well-meaning word can get you unfairly reported, blasted on social media, suspended or worse, painted unfairly as a fill in the blank. And it is taking its toll.
3. Moral grief.
It hurts to watch character crumble around you. To serve with people with whom you can't turn your back or those who value prestige, power and position over all else and no low is too low to stoop to obtain it. We serve today with men and women without honor and wonder if its just us. Deception, character assassination and lack of ethics have been exalted above character, courage and integrity and it's like witnessing a slow death of that which once was so highly valued and the glue that held together our teams, offices and relationships. To try to do right in a system that rewards the opposite makes you the odd person out. Where do you fit anymore?
Here! It's the reason The Leadership Collective was founded.
Granted, this community of believers and leaders and workers is not for everyone. It is for those who feel these pressures every single day. The exhausted. The isolated. The ones grieving the decline in integrity but refusing to give in to it.
Inside The Leadership Collective you will find teaching, coaching, spiritual grounding, clarity, and community shaped for the reality you serve in. A place where you can breathe again. A place to steady your soul so you can keep leading with courage and truth in a time that desperately needs both.
If this hits home, you have found a home. If you feel the weight of this moment. If you still believe character matters and leadership matters. Then you are who The Leadership Collective was created for.
Come be strengthened. Come be restored. Come stand in community with others who understand the cost and the calling.
We were created for community and together, we truly are made better.
